Creating an Order with Oway
Overview
We're excited to be helping on your first Oway order via our website! In order to make your experience seamless, we want to make sure you're aware of all the steps that go into it. All the information we ask for is standard and helps to make sure we're providing you with our industry leading rates on freight shipping.
We're always quick to adapt to our customers needs, so if you have any thoughts on how the process can be improved, do not hesitate to reach out!
Logging into Oway
If you already created an Oway account, you can skip this step and log into Oway.
First start by navigating to our website, Oway.io, and select on Login + Register in the top right hand corner. You have two options (pictured below) if you've never created an Oway account:
Login with Google - This connects your Google account to Oway for easy access. You must always log in with Google going forward, standard Email/Password method below will not work.
Create an Oway Account - This is just a standard signup method using your existing email.
Try your best to avoid creating one account for everyone on your team. Everyone who is interacting with Oway (and has a separate work email) should be creating their own Oway accounts. All similar business emails (ex @oway.io) will still have access to order history, BOLs, and tracking.
If you have forgotten your password, hit the I forgot my password button.
Creating an Order
Now for the exciting part of your first order, creating it! You should see a button in the center of the screen (pictured below) that says , click it.
Next you will need to run through all the details required to send an order out to one of our many Oway Rideshare Partners. Include as much detail as possible, this just assures all potential issues will be covered. Below, we've included a table of all the various stages and things to be mindful of, but the best way to learn this process... is to place a quote!

Confirming your order
Now we're at the grand finale of your first Oway order, the Order Breakdown. This is the place for you to confirm all your details. Once this is confirmed (lower left corner), it gets sent out to all of our carriers. This is why it is vital for all the details to be correct!
Once you've confirmed your shipment, you'll receive access to your BOL (once matched with a driver) and the shipping labels, make sure to keep an eye out for it in your email!
